- He was born on 4th April 1923.
- He was involved in 1942 freedom struggle.
- He was closely associated with Yusuf Meher Ali, Kakasaheb Gadgil, Sane Guruji, Kedarnath Kulkarni, Walajibhai Desai, Jaiprakash Narayan, Achyutrao Patwardhan, S. M. Joshi, Nanasaheb Gore etc.
- He has given his full attention towards the educational department of Nagothane.
- Involved in Educational development in Raigad district along with Late Prabhakar Patil and Adv. Datta Patil. He was Vice-President of Konkan Education Society for 15 years.
- One of the founder member along with Nana Purohit of Raigad Military School. He was working as Joint Secretary of Military School.
- Under the leadership of Mohan Dhariya, he was working as in charge of Raigad District for Vanrai.
- He was working as Chairman of ‘Adarsh Gram Yojana’ Govt. of Maharashtra for 12 years.
- He worked as Vice-President of ‘Kushthrog Nivaran Samiti’ at New Panvel.
- He was Founder, Vice-President of Raigad Bazar.
- Member of Advisory Committee for NSS, University of Mumbai.
